Why include Music on This Epic Life? It's who I am.
Music was the first language I spoke with any confidence. As a kid, all I did was listen, so I learned a few instruments, traded my social life to tour as a bassist in a ska band, and wrote and produced lots of songs. My latest musical adventures are below.
Music is woven into every experience I create, and my song to the right (In The Light) helped inspire my book Permission to Glow. I still write songs with my daughter and coach and produce her award-winning, regional band of teenagers, Detention. This summer they are selling-out shows, getting airplay, and playing festivals. #PROUDDAD

Around 10 years ago now, I wrote and played all the instruments on my 2nd full-length album. Except the drums. We hired a couple of my favorite session drummers in Chicago at the time. This was a crazy undertaking.
